that tstill doesent work but im trying to work on that.There's no way to make a new universe for each character in the game, but there is a workaround you can use. i dont know why but it all works now except for the log and rcon commands.
UPDATE: Okay so somehow it began working after i deleted the xml and copied it in there again. but i was wondering if i gave you the credentials of a steam account where i have shared my games to you would wanna help me try to figure it out? I have used pretty much my whole day trying to figure out why the port didn't change to the one from ogp and why i couldn't see the log. Also make sure the config file is not write protected. Maybe look in Agent log if something is wrong it may be visible there. Change server port in Panel to something else like 12345, and change the custom field port to 12346 and see if it changes it in the config file on server start.
I can't help more without owning the game sorry. The replace text are not supposed to be visible, it is just to make OGP work with them (you'll notice that it uses PORT, MAX PLAYERS, CONTROL_PASSWORD which are OGP specific values, that will be used in the replace text to edit the config on server start to match these value with OGP ones. and you can use another accout if you share your games over family shareing :) "scriptInstructionMeasureInterval" : 10000,ĮDIT: Also i just tested. what im most intrested in figureing out is why it doesnt chnage the port when both the path of the config file and the variable is right. Here is the configuration files the xml is linking to. I think the problem might be that it cant find the config file (18/storage/starbound_nfig) but it is in the right spot but the exe is in this directory (18/win64) i dont know if that has anything to do with it tough. Fatal Exception caught: (IOException) could not open file '.\storage\starbound_server.log.1' 5 i just started the exe and it stared but when i shut it down and tried to start to from the website it dident work and when i tried to start it from the exe again it gave me the same error as above :/ UPDATE: I actually got one server to start under ogp but now trough the panel. Im right now trying to install steam on there to test if that could have anything to do with it but i doubt it :/
